Connect with one of our advisers

One of the aims in rolling out the eight new For the Arts programmes over the coming months is to create easier communication between Creative New Zealand and the arts community.

“Our kaimahi are knowledgeable and want to help applicants with their queries, guiding people to the best opportunities for them. It’s great to be creating simple ways for people to get in touch with us.” Says Senior Manager – Arts Development Services, Gretchen La Roche.

Creative New Zealand’s speak to an adviser page is the best way to find out who to talk to and how. Whether you have questions about our opportunities, want to discuss an idea, or just want to speak with someone at Creative New Zealand, you can now book an online appointment directly.

The speak to an adviser page has the email and phone contact details for our advisers and descriptions of their roles and the types of advice they offer. If our systems are not accessible to you, you can work with one of our advisers to find the best way for you to apply – they will be there to support you.

Creative New Zealand has simplified its processes to assist applicants. There are no longer individual user agreements – meaning that applicants agree to the terms and conditions when they apply, removing the need to sign individual contracts for different opportunities. Information about the opportunities, including the application form, meet Plain Language standards.

These changes have been made after consultation with the arts community to ensure the application process is more straight-forward and positive for people using our services.

Currently our advisers are out on the road meeting with people around the motu to talk through the eight new opportunities, the first of which open this week.
