Recognising global networks and relationships

Through our Global Networks Presentation Fund, we’ve supported Rosanna Raymond, working in collaboration with artists in the UK, to adapt and present an iteration of ‘SaVAge K’lub’ at the Birmingham 2022 cultural festival.

Opening 28 April, SaVAge K’lub is presented in partnership between the Commonwealth Games Cultural Festival, Birmingham Museum and ArtGallery and Fierce Festival.  The festivals and galleries connected with Rosanna through our Te Manu Ka Tau programme and the PANNZ arts market.

Through this fund, we’ve supported a total of five exciting international presentations. The works will be presented in person/digitally/or a hybrid of both.

These projects illustrate the ways that artists, curators and presenters are responding in innovative ways to working internationally in a COVID-world. They’re a testament to the wonderful work being made in Aotearoa, which is in demand offshore, and the strong global networks fostered by our artists over many years and supported through our international initiatives.
