Creative New Zealand’s new National Toi Māori strategy is on track to be launched in December.
Creative New Zealand engaged with Māori across the length and breadth of Aotearoa as a first step in developing a by Māori for Aotearoa Māori arts strategy. Between November 2017 and May 2018 this included 24 regional hui with celebrated artists, emerging artists, interested iwi and iwi leaders, regional arts development agencies, cultural agencies, online surveying and attendance at key events.
