Proposals from theatre, dance, music and inter-art form companies and artists to showcase their work to international presenters are being called by Creative New Zealand, in association with the New Zealand Festival and Auckland Arts Festival.
The deadline for proposals is 5pm on Thursday 3 December 2015.
The opportunity is part Creative New Zealand’s Te Manu Ka Tau international visitors’ programme which brings international festival directors and presenters to New Zealand to experience a variety of performances and meet artists.
Proposed showcase dates are:
- Wellington: Sunday 28 or Monday 29 February 2016
- Auckland: Thursday 3 or Friday 4 March 2016

Te Manu Ka Tau is aimed at helping New Zealand artists develop international relationships and audiences by giving international guests an insight into the culture and arts of New Zealand. Presenters from Asia, Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia will be attending performances at the New Zealand Festival and the Auckland Arts Festival and a selection of showcases.
Te Manu Ka Tau is part of Creative New Zealand’s International Programme.
Decisions on showcases will be advised by Tuesday 15 December 2015. Final dates for showcases will be confirmed once the international guests’ schedules are finalised.
