Creative Waikato will be running two new Creative Communities Scheme workshops on
Wednesday 12 March 2014.
The workshops are designed to assist the creative community in building effective applications for arts funding. The workshops will deliver information about grant criteria, the application process and budgeting, as well as answering any other questions applicants may have.
Creative Waikato’s CCS Administrator, Adrienne Clothier says applicants should come along if they have queries or need assistance applying for the grant.
“There are three key areas that the CCS funding supports and projects need to address at least one. These are to engage broad community involvement, support diverse arts and cultural traditions, or encourage young people to participate in the arts”.
Projects also need to take place in Hamilton to be eligible and grants of up to $5,000 can be
applied for through the scheme.
The CCS grant is now open and applications are invited. The closing date for the grant is Friday 28 March at 4.30pm.
There is no fee or registration required for the workshops, just turn up to Creative Waikato, 131 Alexandra St, Hamilton at 12pm or alternatively attend the evening workshop at 5.30pm.
Specific criteria information and application forms are available on the Creative Waikato website, www.creativewaikato.co.nz and any further queries to Adrienne Clothier 0508 427 892.
