The 9th Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM) will be held in Adelaide from 22-26 February 2010 to coincide with the Adelaide Bank Festival of Arts and the Adelaide Fringe.
Creative New Zealand is delighted to announce that, in partnership with the Australia Council for the Arts, we will be supporting a co-ordinated New Zealand presence.
APAM is a biennial event that offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase a selection of New Zealand performing arts to international programme-makers. It also allows New Zealand artists and companies a chance to develop international contacts and identify potential markets and audiences for their work.
Around 400 key delegates from over 25 countries attend APAM’s vibrant Spotlight showcase, Searchlight pitch sessions, On Display booths, industry forums, workshops, keynote address and networking functions.
To be considered for an APAM Spotlight or Searchlight showcase, works must have a distinctively New Zealand quality, be of a very high standard and appropriate for the market. To be considered for a Spotlight showcase works must have been toured in New Zealand for at least two seasons.
