The latest Arts Grant round resulted in 73 grants totalling $2,194,182 being offered to support projects by New Zealand artists, practitioners and arts organisations. More than $6 million was requested from 178 applications. Applications to this round closed on 5 September 2014.

Results include
Pacific Arts Funding – Five grants totalling $137,040 were offered. Over $286,000 was requested from 10 applications.
Maori Arts Funding - 11 grants totalling $388,589 were offered. Nearly $1.1 million was requested from 25 applications.
Toi Ake
$50,000 was also offered to two projects through the Toi Ake initiative. Toi Ake is tailored to iwi, hapū, whakapapa-based roopu and maata waka to cultivate and retain heritage Ngā Toi Māori.
The Todd New Writers' Bursary
In 2014 this was awarded to Gemma Bowker-Wright to complete a new novel. Creative New Zealand contributes $10,000 towards this bursary and the balance of $10,000 is provided by the Todd Corporation Ltd.
