This was broken down as follows:
- Ngā toi Māori: 19 grants totalling $188,000 were supported. $238,000 was requested by 24 applicants.
- Pacific Arts: 11 grants totalling $110,000 were supported. $120,000 was requested by 12 applicants.
- General Arts: 65 grants totalling $629,845 were supported. $977,476 was requested by 102 applicants.

The Development Fund for Arts Organisations and Groups is focused on support for organisations and groups to build their capability in key areas to create long term success.
The total number of applications increased from last year’s funding round.
A range of focus areas are represented, with a high number of applications for audience engagement and financial resilience.
The organisations supported are located across the country, including Northland, Central Hawke’s Bay, Greymouth and Gore.
