94 arts organisations and groups have been offered grants totalling $104,170,885 to deliver programmes of work for one, two, or three years that make a positive impact in their community or communities.
A total of $201,579,318 was requested.
This was broken down as follows:
- Ngā toi Māori: 17 grants totalling $13,551,317 were offered.
- Pacific Arts: 11 grants totalling $10,709,691 were offered.
- General Arts: 66 grants totalling $79,909,877 were offered.
Artforms were supported as follows:
- Craft and Object art: 1 grant totalling $2,466,048 was offered.
- Customary Māori arts: 4 grants totalling $2,845,440 were offered.
- Dance: 5 grants totalling $9,083,769 were offered.
- Literature: 12 grants totalling $4,612,465 were offered.
- Multidisciplinary arts: 25 grants totalling $22,664,620 were offered.
- Music and opera: 15 grants totalling $32,766,738 were offered.
- Pacific heritage arts: 3 grants totalling $2,911,902 were offered.
- Theatre: 20 grants totalling $21,574,846 were offered.
- Visual arts: 9 grants totalling $5,245,057 were offered.
