Request for Proposals for Toi Uru Kahikatea programme for 2023 – 2025

Creative New Zealand is inviting proposals to one of our multi-year investment programmes, Toi Uru Kahikatea, for 2023 – 2025 funding.

What’s happening

Creative New Zealand is inviting current recipients of Kahikatea funding and selected organisations identified by the Arts Council to submit a proposal for funding through the Toi Uru Kahikatea programme for three years, from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2025.

The Kahikatea investment programme provides support to arts organisations, groups or individuals so they can contribute to building stronger arts communities, artists and organisations, and/or facilitate greater public engagement in the arts.

Funding agreements for the Kahikatea programme are for terms of up to three years, after which time organisations must make another submission through the Request for Proposals process.

Organisations seeking Kahikatea funding will need to show how their proposed programme of work delivers to at least one of three features of Creative New Zealand’s Investment Strategy:

  • diversity and reach
  • dynamic arts
  • a resilient arts sector.
