World Forum on Music Sustaining Music Engaging Communities

The World Forum on Music is to be held in Brisbane at the end of November. Read about the World Forum here.

This is our vision for what will happen in November 2013…

Over 1,000 music professionals and other enthusiasts from all over the world descend upon the heart of the cultural precinct on Brisbane’s South Bank to discuss, plan, be part of, and experience the future of music on this planet: musicians, producers, managers, administrators, festival directors, journalists, scholars, educators, facilitators, activists, policy makers and other lovers of the art in its myriad forms and contexts.

If you are interested in participating at that level, please read the call for contributions and the submission guidelines. Any applications are due in by 15 March. The forum is run by the International Music Council, the Music Council of Australia and the Queensland Conservatorium Research Centre, Griffith University.
