New Zealand short films successful at Cannes

<p>Two New Zealand short films screened in competition at the Cannes International Film Festival this year, with <em>The Six Dollar Fifty Man</em>, directed by Mark Albiston and Louis Sutherland, being awarded a Special Distinction.</p>

Two New Zealand short films screened in competition at the Cannes International Film Festival this year, with The Six Dollar Fifty Man directed by Mark Albiston and Louis Sutherland, being awarded a Special Distinction.

 

The Screen Innovation Production Funded film, Lars Og Peter, directed by Daniel Borgman was the other New Zealand short film that featured in competition.
