Artspace in association with Tautai Contemporary Pacific Arts Trust is very pleased to be able to offer a new Education Internship.
Made possible by a grant from Creative New Zealand’s Sector Development Incentive Fund, this new initiative recognises the importance and value of Artspace engaging with New Zealand's growing community of young Pacific Islanders in a meaningful and sustainable way.
The Education Intern will foster an education programme for the gallery that encourages interaction with local schools, and primary, secondary and tertiary students in Auckland, with particular emphasis on reaching and engaging Pacific students at these institutions.
The internship runs on a 9-month contract (30 hours p/w). It will be preferably awarded to a candidate who has strong ties within the Pacific community.
A full position description and information about the application procedure are available from Artspace’s website.
Applications close on Monday 25 February.
