International

Artworks Alliance (UK)
A network of organisations and individuals with strategic interests in participatory arts (including community arts, socially-engaged arts, voluntary arts, and arts in education and learning) that are working together on a range of initiatives to strengthen participatory arts in the UK. They do a monthly newsletter and have a Knowledge-bank that includes research, evaluations and reports, toolkits and guidance, case studies and videos.

The Australia Council
They have a portfolio (and section of their website) that is dedicated to community arts and cultural development.

Arts Professional
A UK website that does a weekly newsletter about a wide range of current arts issues. They often have great community arts discussion.

Culture Health and Wellbeing Alliance (UK)
A national alliance committed to promoting the role of the creative arts in health and care.

National Guild for Community Arts Education (USA)
A membership organisation for community arts education providers.

ICAF Rotterdam
A biennial international community arts festival.

International Teaching Artist Conference (ITAC)
A biennial conference that focuses on participatory arts practice.

Americans for the Arts
An advocacy and research body that aims to build recognition and support for the extraordinary and dynamic value of the arts. It also aims to lead, serve, and advance the diverse networks of organizations and individuals who cultivate the arts in the USA.

King’s and Culture
The culture faculty at King’s College, London. They have a dedicated research unit that has produced some excellent reports on participatory arts in the UK.
