55 fellowships totalling $1,800,000 have been offered to support artists, practitioners, and collaboratives to develop, innovate and create across three funding pools (Ngā toi Māori, Pacific arts and General arts). We received 612 eligible applications, with a total of $21,329,059 requested.
This was broken down as follows:
- Ngā toi Māori: 14 fellowships totalling $450,000 were supported. $4,575,000 was requested by 122 applicants.
- Pacific Arts: 7 fellowships totalling $250,000 were supported. $2,175,000 was requested by 62 applicants.
- General Arts: 34 fellowships totalling $1,100,000 were supported. $14,579,059 was requested by 428 applicants.
