We will be live streaming a presentation of the first year’s results of Creative New Zealand Optimiser– an online marketing benchmarking study specifically relevant to New Zealand arts organisations.

By extracting data from 38 New Zealand arts organisations, Optimiser allows arts organisations to compare and contrast their results against other similar New Zealand arts organisations for the first time, and to understand key trends in online behaviour.
- How well are you engaging audiences in your social media channels? From July 2012 to June 2013 the number of Facebook ‘likes’ across Optimiser participants increased by 69% and the number of new Twitter followers by 81%.
- Is your website mobile optimised? On average, visits to Optimiser participant websites via mobile phone increased by 40.17% and via tablet by 55.24% between July 2012 and June 2013.
- To what degree is your organisation prioritising video content? According to Adcorp, 2.26 million New Zealanders (50.91% of total NZ population) accessed YouTube video in January 2013. Yet on average only 1.25 videos per week were uploaded to YouTube by all Optimiser participants combined over the last year.
