Quick Response Grants application results

Creative New Zealand has published the names of successful applicants to the latest Quick Response Grant application round, which closed on 26 July 2013.

A total of 81 grants totalling $465,942 were offered to support projects by New Zealand artists, practitioners and arts organisations. More than $1.88 million was requested from 299 applications.

Of the 15 successful applications for the Te Waka Toi Quick Response Grants, three were Toi tipu Toi rea grants. This is a new initiative to support emerging Maori artists. All eligible artists who apply to Te Waka Toi for a Quick Response Grant are eligible to apply. The first Toi tipu Toi rea recipients are Robert Ruha, Hawaiki Tu Productions Ltd and Whenua Tapu Creative Ltd.

Quick Response Grants are offered three times a year.  The maximum that can be applied for is $7500.

The closing date for the next round of Quick Response Grants is 25 October 2013.
