Te Manu Ka Tau at the New Zealand Festival 2014 Call for proposals

Te Manu Ka Tau is Creative New Zealand’s international visitors’ programme which aims to bring international Festival directors and presenters to New Zealand to experience a variety of New Zealand performances, meet with local artists and to offer them a greater insight into the cultural and artistic landscape of New Zealand.  The objective of this programme is to assist New Zealand artists to develop international relationships and audiences.

Next year Te Manu ka Tau will take place during the first week of the New Zealand Festival, 23rd- 28th February 2014.

Creative New Zealand has invited key presenters from Asia, Edinburgh, the United Kingdom and Australia all of whom will be invited to attend a welcome powhiri, performances at the New Zealand Festival, selected events at PANNZ and Sounds Aotearoa (24 and 25 February) and a selection of showcases by New Zealand artists in Wellington and Auckland.
