Distribution Strategy

Creative New Zealand has recently introduced a new distribution strategy so New Zealanders have better access to high quality arts experiences.

The strategy will run from 2010 to 2013 and offers opportunities to artists, practitioners and arts organisations to:

  • expand the regional touring of New Zealand art works  (Regional Presenter and Audience Development Fund)
  • develop the skills of arts distributors
  • build regional audiences for New Zealand art works (Regional Presenter and Audience Development Fund)

Creative New Zealand is now calling for proposals for the Regional Presenter and Audience Development FundFind out more here

Contestable funding will also be available for arts projects that use websites and the internet.  Find out more about funding for websites here

Creative New Zealand recognises there can be strong connections between domestic and international distribution of the arts.  This distribution strategy was adopted by the Arts Council alongside a newly developed International Strategy. View the International strategy
