Creative New Zealand distributes approximately $9 million annually in Contestable Funding to support projects focused on the development of New Zealand arts, artists and arts practitioners. People apply to different funding rounds throughout the year and their projects are ranked according to their artistic merit and how strongly they help us achieve our Strategic Priorities. We fund the applications that are strongest artistically and a good strategic fit.
You can find out how to apply for Contestable Funding here.
